Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Fringe Wall Co. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
Please read these Terms carefully before making any purchase.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our website or purchase our products.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from Fringe Wall Co. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement.
Products and Descriptions
Custom-Made Products
All Fringe Wall Co wallpaper is custom-made to order based on your specifications. Each order is unique and enters production immediately after payment confirmation.
Product Specifications
- Standard Roll Width: 19 inches (our print partner uses a standard 19" width)
- Material Types: Traditional (non-woven), Peel & Stick (self-adhesive), and LUXE (premium non-woven)
- Custom Sizing: Products are manufactured to your exact measurements
Color Accuracy
IMPORTANT: We strive for accurate product representation, but we cannot guarantee that colors displayed on your screen will exactly match the printed product.
Color variations may occur due to:
- Different monitor calibrations and display settings
- Lighting conditions when viewing your screen
- Natural variations in the printing process
- Differences between print batches
We strongly recommend ordering a sample before purchasing full wall coverage to evaluate color, texture, and quality in your specific lighting conditions.
Product Information
While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions, specifications, pricing, or other content on our website are accurate, complete, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
Ordering and Payment
Order Acceptance
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Product availability
- Errors in product or pricing information
- Issues with payment authorization
- Suspected fraudulent activity
An order is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from us acknowledging receipt and acceptance of your order.
Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of your order, subject to our right to correct pricing errors.
Pricing includes:
- Custom manufacturing to your specifications
- Standard processing (1-3 business days)
Pricing does not include:
- Shipping costs ($15 flat rate per order)
- Sales tax (where applicable)
- Installation costs or materials
Payment
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed during checkout. Payment is processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment processors. We never store your complete credit card information on our servers.
By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied to orders as required by applicable state and local laws.
Measurement Accuracy
Customer Responsibility
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS.
- Triple-check all dimensions before placing your order
- We strongly recommend adding at least 2-3 inches to both width and height to account for wall irregularities
- Measure at multiple points if your walls are not perfectly straight
- Account for obstacles such as outlets, switches, and trim
Measurement Errors
We cannot guarantee changes to orders after they are placed due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products. If you provide incorrect measurements, Fringe Wall Co is not responsible for:
- Insufficient wallpaper coverage
- Excess material
- Costs related to ordering additional wallpaper
If you realize you made a measurement error, contact us immediately at sales@fringewallco.com. While we cannot guarantee changes after an order is placed, we will do our best to help if we haven't started production.
Order Cancellations and Changes
Before Production
Orders may be canceled or modified BEFORE production begins. Because we manufacture custom wallpaper on-demand, production typically begins within 1-3 business days of order placement.
To request a cancellation or change:
- Email sales@fringewallco.com immediately with your order number
- Include "CANCELLATION REQUEST" or "ORDER CHANGE REQUEST" in the subject line
We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that cancellations or changes can be completed once production has started.
After Production Begins
Once your order has entered production, cancellations cannot be guaranteed. We will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
No Refunds for Change of Mind After Shipping
Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once your order has shipped. However, we encourage you to contact us at sales@fringewallco.com if you have concerns—we're here to help find a solution.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Costs
- Flat Rate: $15 per order regardless of the number of rolls
- Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout
Processing and Delivery Times
- Production Time: 1-3 business days from order confirmation
- Delivery Time: 2-7 business days after shipment (FedEx from Mesa, Arizona)
- Total Time: Approximately 3-10 business days from order to delivery
Note: These are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Shipping Confirmation
You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships. Tracking details typically become active within 24 hours of shipment.
Shipping Address
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Delivery Issues
Lost or Stolen Packages:
Fringe Wall Co is not liable for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery confirmation by the carrier. If your tracking shows delivery but you did not receive your package:
- Check with neighbors or building management
- Contact the shipping carrier (FedEx) to file a claim
- Contact us at sales@fringewallco.com—we will do our best to assist with carrier claims
Damaged Packages:
If your package arrives damaged:
- Document the damage with photographs (box exterior, contents, and any visible damage)
- Contact us immediately at sales@fringewallco.com with your order number and photos
- We will work with you to file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement
Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Defective Products
We stand behind the quality of our products. If your wallpaper arrives defective or damaged due to manufacturing error, we will replace it free of charge within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a defect return:
- Contact us immediately at sales@fringewallco.com within 30 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and detailed description of the defect
- Submit clear photographs showing:
- The entire print laid out
- Close-up images of the defect(s)
- Any packaging if relevant to damage claims
- The wallpaper must be uninstalled and undamaged by installation attempts
What qualifies as a defect:
- Printing errors (color shifts, banding, incorrect pattern alignment)
- Manufacturing defects (tears, wrinkles, adhesion issues on Peel & Stick)
- Incorrect dimensions that do not match your order
- Damaged products upon arrival
What does NOT qualify as a defect:
- Normal color variations between screen and print
- Issues caused by improper installation
- Damage caused by incorrect surface preparation
- Natural variations in texture or finish
- Buyer's remorse or change of design preference
Return Shipping for Defects
If your return is approved as a defect claim, Fringe Wall Co will provide a prepaid return shipping label. You are not responsible for return shipping costs for legitimate defect claims.
Change of Mind Returns
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we do not offer standard returns for change of mind, wrong color choice, or design preference changes.
However, we're reasonable people. If you have concerns about your order, please contact us at sales@fringewallco.com. We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to find a solution that works for both parties.
If we agree to accept a return for reasons other than defects:
- A 15% restocking fee may apply
- You are responsible for return shipping costs
- The product must be uninstalled, undamaged, and in original packaging
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
No Returns After Installation
CRITICAL: We do not accept returns or offer refunds for wallpaper that has been partially or fully installed.
This is why we strongly urge you to:
- Inspect your entire order immediately upon arrival
- Lay out all panels before installation begins
- Check for defects, color accuracy, and pattern alignment
- Contact us immediately if you notice any issues
Once installation begins, you accept the product as-is.
Restocking and Recycling
Due to the custom nature of our products, returned wallpaper cannot be resold and will be recycled responsibly. This is why restocking fees may apply to non-defect returns.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product, we will process your return (subject to our return policy) and you may place a new order.
Samples
Sample Orders
We offer 8.5" x 11" samples for $5 each to help you evaluate our products before committing to a full order.
We strongly recommend ordering samples to:
- Assess color accuracy in your lighting
- Evaluate material texture and quality
- Test adhesion on your wall surface (for Peel & Stick)
- Confirm the design meets your expectations
Sample Policy
- Samples are non-refundable
- Sample orders ship within 1-3 business days
- Samples may not perfectly represent full-scale color or pattern due to size limitations
Installation Requirements and Warranty
Surface Preparation
Proper installation begins with proper surface preparation. Your wall must be:
- Clean: Free of dust, grease, and debris
- Dry: Completely dry with no moisture
- Smooth: Free of texture, bumps, or significant imperfections
- Sound: No peeling paint, loose plaster, or structural damage
- Primed (if necessary): Bare drywall must be primed; newly painted walls should cure for at least 4 weeks
For Peel & Stick wallpaper:
- Some wall paints may not be compatible with adhesive backing
- Test adhesion with your sample before ordering
- Not recommended for textured walls unless primed first
Installation Inspection Requirement
YOU MUST INSPECT YOUR WALLPAPER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
Before you begin installing:
- Unroll and inspect all panels in good lighting
- Verify dimensions match your order
- Check for any printing defects or damage
- Confirm color and pattern meet your expectations
Once you begin installation, you accept the product as-is and warranty claims may be denied.
Limited Warranty
Fringe Wall Co warrants that our products will be free from manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of purchase, provided that:
- You followed all installation instructions
- The wallpaper was installed on a properly prepared surface
- You inspected the product before installation
- You notified us of any defects before installation began
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials
- Printing errors not visible upon inspection
- Adhesion failures on Peel & Stick (when properly installed on suitable surfaces)
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Damage from improper installation
- Issues caused by inadequate surface preparation
- Normal wear and tear
- Fading from direct sunlight exposure
- Damage from moisture, humidity, or environmental factors
- Issues discovered after installation begins
Professional Installation Recommended
While our products are designed for DIY installation, we recommend professional installation for best results, especially for large areas or complex layouts.
Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRINGE WALL CO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR:
- Installation Costs: We will not reimburse costs for professional installation, DIY installation time, or tools and materials
- Removal Costs: We are not responsible for costs to remove improperly installed or defective wallpaper
- Surface Damage: We are not liable for damage to walls, paint, drywall, or other surfaces caused by installation or removal
- Consequential Damages: We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to:
- Lost profits or revenue
- Loss of use
- Business interruption
- Damage to other property
- Emotional distress
Maximum Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) IN QUESTION.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which your claim is based (contract, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise).
Customer Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for ensuring proper installation
- You are solely responsible for surface preparation and compatibility
- You are solely responsible for verifying measurements and product suitability
- You assume all risks associated with installation and use of our products
Intellectual Property
Ownership
All content on the Fringe Wall Co website, including but not limited to designs, logos, text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of Fringe Wall Co or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes
- View and purchase products for personal use
- Display installed wallpaper in your private or commercial space
Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our designs for commercial purposes
- Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Use our designs for print-on-demand or resale purposes
- Claim ownership of our designs or content
Customer Designs
If you submit custom artwork or designs for printing:
- You retain ownership of your original work
- You grant us a license to reproduce your design for manufacturing purposes
- You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions
- You agree to indemnify us against any claims of intellectual property infringement
Privacy and Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our website, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with Fringe Wall Co, please contact us first at sales@fringewallco.com. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue informally.
Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase shall be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, except as provided below.
Arbitration Terms:
- Arbitration will be conducted in Montana under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
- The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding
- Each party will bear its own costs and attorneys' fees unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator
- Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis—no class actions
Exceptions to Arbitration
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for:
- Intellectual property disputes
- Enforcement of arbitration awards
- Small claims court matters (if they qualify)
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Waiver of Class Actions
YOU AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
Miscellaneous Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fringe Wall Co regarding your use of our website and purchase of our products, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, or severe weather
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government actions or regulations
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Supplier or carrier failures
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
Survival
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination of these Terms shall survive, including but not limited to: warranties, limitations of liability, dispute resolution, and intellectual property provisions.
